Italian cuisine is obviously close to our hearts. It was the inspiration from Italy that once started Stockholms Glass- & Pastahus, our family-owned and friendly restaurant on Valhallavägen. In the mid-1980s, before pasta had become a natural part of Swedish food culture, our founders decided to become one of Stockholm’s pasta pioneers. Said and done, to our great joy, the concept has been a success, and today our restaurant is filled with both well-known regulars and new acquaintances.
Have breakfast, lunch or dinner
The years pass, but the joy of food remains. At our restaurant, both food-loving Stockholmers and temporary visitors enjoy tasty dishes at good prices. Prepared from scratch with love, passion and really good ingredients – all for the flavor and quality. Over the years, pasta and pizza have also been joined on the menu by, for example, potato pancakes and chèvre salad. The experienced chef, with several top restaurants on his resume, has taken his collective cooking skills and composed his greatest hits here. And we also have a fresh deli counter for those who want to bring some goodies home.
The menu has something for everyone – whether you want to start the day with a luxurious breakfast, have a nice lunch with your colleague or a cozy dinner with your family. Eat on-site, take away or if the weather is nice – sit down on our sunny outdoor terrace, open from spring to fall.
Enjoy ice cream or “fika” after your meal
Fika – from freshly brewed quality coffee to delicious pastries – is served all day, and of course you can also enjoy our famous ice cream. A wide range of flavors of Italian cream ice cream, classic Swedish dairy ice cream, fruity sorbet or sugar-free dairy ice cream. So you are sure to find your favorite. And you can also order our popular cakes and pastries.
Catering and rental of premises
We also offer catering – perfect when you want good food for a party or event. For example, we can make a buffet with mixed meat, pasta or pizza, but we can also customize the catering according to your wishes. It is also possible to rent our premises.
